Our Winter break has officially begun here at USD Closet Project. Please remember that this is not a place to seek emergency assistance. Below you will find a list of resources available to you while we are away and resting.

USD always has a psychologist on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week who is happy to confidentially consult with you if you are experiencing a crisis. You can reach the counselor on call by calling Public Safety at 619-260-7777 and requesting to speak to the Counselor-on-Call. The USD counselors are all well trained and knowledgeable around a wide variety of issues, including LGBTQ concerns.

This hotline is a confidential, LGBTQ specific crisis hotline staffed by trained counselors that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also ask for help on TrevorChat or TrevorText through this website: www.thetrevorproject.org/pages/get-help-now

Here you can speak with a non-USD affiliated counselor who can provide assistance. Confidential and free of charge, the line is immediately answered 7 days a week, 24 hours a day by Master's-level and Licensed Clinicians. The counselors average 16 years of clinical experience.
For any life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 or go to your closest emergency room.
